Poetic geography as a theme of elective course

Abstract: This article contains rich material to produce an elective course of Poetic geography. Explaining the significance of the course the author of the article refers to history of literature and considers the main trends of poetic interest in geography in the XIX-XX centuries. Particular attention is paid to the literature of the last decades. There is a detailed analysis of V. Strochkov's poem. Also there are recommendations for teaching the course for different audiences.
