Abstract: The article presents a review of the monograph by N.I. Konovalova Sacred Text as a Linguocultural Phenomenon. The basic propositions of the work and its structure are outlined. The reviewer points out the importance of the book for developing linguistic, psycho- and sociolinguistic and cognitive approaches to the language.
