Abstract: In this paper the author considers in detail the creative work of Anna Akhmatova in the period of the Great Patriotic War, states specific attitude of the poet. The author describes the history of the series "War Wind," which is examined in the context of the poem "Courage", the author reveals the central theme and imagery of the poem, the style and poetic language, the concludes on the artistic originality and concept of the poetic text.
