Abstract: The article analyzes conference materials: “XXI century. Results of the literary decade: language – culture – society” held in Moscow in 2010. It describes the basic tendencies of literary process in 2000–2010 , special attention is paid to understanding of the “new realism” phenomenon in literary criticism of recent year.
