Abstract: The paper is devoted to a brief survey of works of Andrei Platonov regarding the establishment of the image of his father. Summing up valuable biographical information about the fate of his father’s writer, researcher refers to those texts which, in its view, reflected the kinks this fate: “The story of the many interesting things”, “Heroes of Labor”, “Old Mechanic”, “Fro”.
