Faust – Peter – Mephistopheles: “Contact faustiana” in the Platonov's stories “State resident” and “Doubt Makar”

Abstract: The story of Platonov “State resident” and “casting doubt Makar” is analyzed in terms of the Faustian tradition, including a literary image of Peter I. Degradation of the Faustian character types: the completeness of the search for harmony of life – through dvuipostasnost Caesarism Peter I – the absolute diabolization – this strategy of “reverse faustiany.” Platonic in its development from the early works of the beginning of the 1930s.
