Abstract: The article presents the experience of work on the formation of spiritual and moral personality of students. Special attention is paid to training the analysis of a literary work, in particular the expansion of students ' ideas about the role of artistic details of the disclosure of the author's position, as well as the development of skills reasoned speech.
