A Strict Reply From Osip Mandelstam for Lermontov Mikhail

Abstract: Semantic interpretation (in the light of the theory of the author) of “the literary leitmotifs” (Pushkin — Lermontov — Mandelstam, Lermontov — Mandelstam; Lermontov — Nekrasov — Mandelstam) allows to speak about the special role of Lermontov’s poetry and personality in the lyrics and creative behavior of Osip Mandelstam. The analysis extends the circle of Lermontov’s subtexts.
