Psycholinguistic Experiment as the Way of the Revelation of the Efficiency of the Oikonym

Abstract: The article describes the results of the methodic of the subjective scaling as a kind of the psycholinguistic experiment directed to the revelation of the efficiency of the names of the cottage settlements situated in the outskirts of Yekaterinburg. The studying of oikonymic nomination in the psycholinguistic aspect is supposed to be perspective as they not only form the cultural and linguistic appearance of the Ural region but also reflect the gustatory preferences of the contemporary language speakers.
