THE TYPES AND FORMS OF MONITORING OF SPEECH ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract: This article deals with the question of the types and forms of control of speech development of secondary school students. It lists the various types of control, such as input, the current, theme and final, and marks their functions, goals and objectives in the educational process, as well as the forms of control organization (independent and verification work, situational tasks, portfolio). Focusing on the list of communicatively-speech abilities (formed on the basic of speech skills) as well as on the need to develop different types of speech activity and to work out the processes and communication skills, the article presents examples of test materials for pupils. At the core of each variant of such materials — the text with the tasks for check level of communicatively-speech abilities relying on communication knowledge. With the proposed assignments the abilities to read, understand and create text are checked. Tests suggest different activities, so, except for the main part, in each test there are some additional tasks: to prove, to explain, to compare. These measurement and control materials can be used at the lessons of Russian language in full or partial form.
