Abstract: This article examines the specificity of using linguo-cultural dialogue as a key method in teaching Russian as a foreign language to Pakistani students, taking into account their cultural and religious background. Emphasis is placed on integrating linguo-cultural material into the education process, facilitating the development of intercultural competence and overcoming communication barriers. To substantiate the need to incorporate linguo-cultural dialogue into the system of teaching Russian, textbooks with a pronounced linguo-cultural component were reviewed. The study provides a definition of linguo-cultural dialogue and identifies its specific features in comparison with intercultural communication. The analysis has revealed the challenges that hinder successful language acquisition and has worked out practical guidelines aimed at adapting the content and methods of teaching to the Islamic context of Pakistan. As a result of the study, the article presents a system of exercises containing a cultural component and aimed at facilitating linguo-cultural dialogue. The study emphasizes the importance of bidirectional cultural communication, including comparison and contrast of the linguo-cultural realities of Russia and Pakistan. The prospects of further research are associated with the development of specialized teaching materials and diagnostic tools that ensure the effective development of linguo-cultural competence and the successful adaptation of foreign students to a Russian-speaking environment.
