Abstract: The article deals with the phenomenon of sacral-religious exegesis in the Gospel parable discourse. The aim of the article is to reveal the semantic features of the category of sacral-religious exegesis of the Gospel parable and establish its linguostylistic status in Russian and German. The theoretical foundations of the study are related to the conceptual ideas of the theory of text mentality. The identification and the description of identification parameters of sacral-religious exegesis presuppose the use of the following methods: the method of paradigmatic spherization and the descriptive-analytical, semantic-contextual, hermeneutical, and comparative analyses. The results of the study allow the author to draw the following conclusions. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the identification of semantic spheres of sacral-religious exegesis can be revealed using the method of paradigmatic spherization. Six semantic spheres (the object, the subject, the purpose, the content, the mode of action and the form of expression) organize the sacral-religious exegesis and determine its linguostylistic status. The author suggests the following terms for these spheres: the sacral-religious hermeneutive, the sacral-religious thematiative, the sacral-religious transreferentive, the sacral-religious contensive, the sacral-religious multiplicative, and the sacral-religious textative. The semantic sphere of the sacral-religious hermeneutive is formed by natural laws, everyday situations, and the moral norms of human life (search of a pearl, fishing, family relationships, and the life cycle of a plant). The semantic sphere of the sacral-religious thematiative is represented by “other” (eternal) categories in relation to the hermeneuvtive: The Word of the Kingdom (das Wort von dem Reich), the Word of God (das Wort Gottes), the Kingdom of Heaven (das Himmelreich), the Kingdom of God (das Reich Gottes), God (Gott), the Son of Man (der Menschensohn), Jesus, The Soul (die Seele). The semantic sphere of the sacral-religious transreferentive is formed by the deep (true) meaning, originally embedded in the everyday situation, which must be understood (the seed as the ‘source of spiritual life’). The semantic sphere of the sacral-religious contensive is represented by a set of spiritual (divine) referential pictures of an imperative modus, the bearer of which is Jesus Christ (meekness and humility as a spiritual edification). The semantic sphere of the sacral-religious multiplicative expands and multiplies the reference space of the hermeneutive sphere (the good seed (der Weizen, der gute Same) – the children of the kingdom (die Kinder des Reichs), the tares (das Unkraut) – the children of the wicked one (die Kinder des Bösen). The semantic sphere of the sacral-religious textative serves as a linguostylistic form of expression of the process of sacral-religious exegesis (metaphorical juxtaposition, simile, antithesis, and enumeration). Thus, the identified semantic spheres allow the author to establish the linguostylistic status of sacral-religious exegesis. The sacral-religious exegesis reveals the deep meaning the text of the Gospel parable, which functions as the hidden but finally revealed truth, conceived as a basis of the sacral-religious existence of the person.
