"Where are We From? We Dropped Out of the War …" The Present and the Future of Prose on the Great Patriotic War

Abstract: This article contains the review of the modern literature on the Great Patriotic War. There is a short analysis of prose's originality of authors-participants of war: Vs. Petrov, V.But, D.Granin, etc. Also the author considers products of the writers who don't have «personal front experience (L.Borodina, G.Vladimova, etc.). Comparison with a «high» literature about war indicates decrease «credibility and suspense» texts and also about strengthening of a documentary tendency.
