Abstract: The paper deals with the issue of one of centrisms - anthropocentrism in lexical space as a perspective of linguistic worldview. The article discusses three aspects of anthropocentrism in the language: at lexical level, at phraseological level, and at the level of evaluation category expressed in the language. The issue of anthropocentrism in language in the framework of Polish phraseology according to A. Pajdzińska and R. Tokarski is discussed. The research of four basic categories reflecting the structure of natural world: space - time - quantity and degree - intensity is undertaken. As a proof of anthropocentrism in language in the comprehension of these categories, examples of metaphorical expressions from different Slavic languages are given: Slovak, Polish, and Russian. Philosophical justification is given to the idea of anthropocentrism in a language that manifests itself at the level of metaphorical expressions and is represented in the form of value judgments by means of «humanizing» comparisons, consisting in the notion that it is natural for a person to know the world around them through a prism of their own self, in particular through the prism of a physically percepts.
